Target
The sales manager is a management team member of LF
Achieve the budget goals in turnover, gross margin, market share
To organise distribution chain by appointing the right agent/distributor and the right number of distributor.
To set up relationship with indirect and direct accounts
To manage technicians to achieve the goals with the technical and product mgr
Appoint and manage the right RSM and sales representatives

?The Job Holder will report to the Business Director LFB – Greater China and will be in close contacts with the Regional Technical Managers and teams in the markets. He will work alongside the Technical Manager, Greater China to ensure that commercial/technical objectives are fully understood and met
Major tasks/responsibilities
?To continually monitor competitor pricing strategy in the market in order to maintain and secure our competitiveness in each market segment
?To manage volume, price, exchange rate, gross margin etc
?To provide pricing support to Technical Managers when introducing new products to the markets
?To recommend a The company Greater China product pricing strategy across the whole product portfolio which can satisfy the needs of customers in all market segments. In this respect the job holder needs to be familiar with the portfolio and pricing of competitor products.
?To provide support to the Regional Managers when visiting selected Key customers, Distributors and Agents
?To support the development of a market analysis and contribute to the regional strategy with the aim of meeting projected growth.
?In conjunction with the Regional Managers provide sales forecasts by product/customer on a monthly basis
?Contribute to the growth and profitability of the Greater China Business in the territory, within the objectives set up in the Business Strategy, the Budget and Sales Plans.
?To develop budgets and sales and marketing plans for the area of responsibility.
?Be responsible for Forecasting and Demand input according to the SOP in SAP process. Drive and lead the sales and consistently seek to improve customer satisfaction.
?Help achieve agreed short and long-term business profitability objectives in terms of GM and fixed cost in the area of responsibility.
?To provide assistance and support to the Business Director in defining, leading, and achieving the strategic objectives of The company in Greater China. The content of this responsibility will be agreed, from time to time with the Business Director.
?Identify market niches for new and current LFB products, study competitive products, prices, SWOT, etc. Contribute to the competitor analyses initiatives in the LFB business.
?Provide leadership and coaching to all sales and distributors for Greater China in the territory in achieving (new) sales/business with (new) customers.

The job requires a blend of commercial and market knowledge of the Business Segments. The job holder must be able to deal with people at all levels inside and outside the organisation, have excellent negotiating skills and be willing to travel extensively.
