Assistant Buyer

Report to: Sourcing Manager 地点：奉贤

NATURE & SCOPE

Daily operation for direct procurement China;

Support to Asia direct procurement organization to optimize operation by providing varied services, including data management, system maintenance, vendor performance evaluation and communications with suppliers on operational affairs;

Support on local Quality and SHE MS implementation;

Hands for local project implementation;

Support Global Data Management as request;

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for data administration in BPCS, such as purchase transactions data setup, daily update and clean-up periodically, cover Raw Materials, Intercompany items, third Party/Resale business in Asia;

Take the role of Supplier Corrective Action Reporting owner in Asia: train users, role assignment, review, initiatives to improve supplier’s performance and internal communications;

Keep Asia buyer database most updated and clean up the data periodically;

Responsible for regional rebates administration;

Document suppliers’ quotation and appropriate approvals communications for the further audit;

Implement ISO 9000 quality and SHE MS procedures, meanwhile support on continuous improvement projects;

Coordination on supplier raw material samples request;

Well manage raw material and feedstock price data and prepare summary report or further analysis;

File all supplier related stuff, and verify if all vendor related documents valid, including business license, certificate and permits etc.

Responsible for bonded RM purchase process collaboration between Client company and supplier;

Take care purchase of some grouped raw materials as per request;

JOB PROFILE (Education & Experience)

Education

Bachelor or college degree in international trading, chemicals or other supply chain related majors

Experience

At least 2 years experiences in trading/forwarding/supply chain related fields, preferably in supply chain functions of a chemical manufacturing environment

Specific Skills

Microsoft Office, especially in Excel or Access

communications cross functions;

Good command of spoken and written English

Internal:

Global procurement team, Planning, Logistics, Inventory, Finance, QC, Production.

External:

Market service agency, Suppliers

Well manage varied data and develop action plan to support pricing negotiation and RM cost reports;

Establish close cooperation with funtional departments (Planner, QC, production) to achieve distribution project implementation;

Find ways to optimize the existing process;
