Regional Supply Chain Manager

1. JOB OVERVIEW:
a) Job Title: Regional Supply Chain Manager / Supply Chain Manager
b) Department: Supply Chain
c) Location: Shanghai / Hongkong

2. PURPOSE STATEMENT:
? Lead the supply chain function as part of the OSO senior management team and has full accountability for the OSO supply chain operational performance.
? Maximize the benefits of direct import programs by developing and delivering world supply chain solutions, supporting the Opcos objectives in terms of sales, profit and cash.
? Develop the supply chain team, and enhance staff engagement.
? Maintain effective working relationships with related internal stakeholders and ensure that the triangular teams between sourcing QA and Supply Chain execute according to expectation.
? Develop & maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers & vendors.

3. REPORTING LINE
Immediate supervisor (position):
Direct Report into General Manager – Shanghai
Functional report into Head of Supply Chain

4. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Implement the 3-year supply chain strategies and plans, in connection with commercial and quality management team in the OSO. Ensure that supply chain operations, processes and projects support the Opcos supply chain ambition and targets.
? Continually review supply chain process, procedures and systems both internally and externally to ensure KSO supply chain is at the forefront in terms of operational excellence. Drive supply chain synergies and best practice cross-Opcos.
? Establish strong relationship with Opcos/Group supply chain departments to continuously improve and maintain excellent communication and working relationship.
? Develop and deliver supply chain solutions in terms of forecasting; consolidation; lead time and MOQ reduction to help drive costs and stock out of the end-to-end supply chain, and increase efficiencies.
? Develop and manage vendor base and build strategic partnership. Ensure that supply chain strategies are shared with all vendors in line with Opcos priorities and targets.
? Lead, manage and develop the local supply chain management team, ensuring key people are in place to deliver the required growth. Participate in the KSO management development review process on a quarterly basis to identify talents within the organization; work with HR to ensure retention and development plans are in place.
? Ensure that the KSO supply chain manual is understood, reviewed and that the OSO supply chain is compliant
? Work collaboratively with the KCMs to compute and propose shipment forecast on a monthly basis.
? Monitor the OSO supply chain cost base, in line with budget agreed annually and cost ratio.

5. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

a) Work Experience
Minimum of 10 years operational experience of import supply chains, especially Asia-Europe, along with at least 5 years management experience
b) Skills
? Excellent leadership skills and people management
? Ability to communicate and influence at all levels, in a multi cultural environment.
? Strong abilities in planning and implementing strategies
c) Educational Qualification
Degree holder or above, preferably in supply chain, logistics, engineering or business administration
d) Industrial / Product Knowledge
Knowledge in manufacturing process, product development and retailing is a definite advantage
e) Languages
Fluent in English.
French and Mandarin are a definite advantage
f) Trait (e.g. decisive, flexible etc)
Strong leader, decisive, assertive, results driven, problem solver, persuasive, communicative, strategic thinker, strong commercial awareness, able to lead and drive the change agenda and a good team player..
g) Travel Requirements
Travel to China and South East Asia, occasionally to Europe (Opcos) and OSOs offices.
