职位描述
Main Responsibilities
· Provide leadership and oversight for the implementation of product safety CSO programs in the Asia Pacific region.
· Drive ownership and accountability for the programs in the INVISTA business lines and at INVISTA operations facilities in the region.
· Conduct gap analysis of INVISTA Product Stewardship processes against Product Stewardship Compliance Standard and determine where there is a need for improved processes, procedures and/or Standards in the Asia Pacific region.
· Work with INVISTA business lines and facilities in the region as they identify their key risks in the product safety CSO programs and help provide gap closure plans.
· Work with the INVISTA global Product Safety Capability to develop, implement and/or maintain sustainable INVISTA Product Stewardship Processes and integrate into the business lines so that the expectations of the INVISTA Product Stewardship Compliance Standard are met for the Asia Pacific region.
· Develop, implement and maintain INVISTA Product Stewardship processes that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage key risks and drive ownership to the business/sites.
· Partner with INVISTA Corporate Audit to assess Product Stewardship performance in the Asia Pacific region.
· Provide Product Safety related regulatory compliance support and oversight for INVISTA sites and businesses in the Asia pacific region.
· Provide leadership and oversight for registration activities for pending regulations and business growth in the Asia Pacific countries.
· Ensure resources are available to effectively support Product Safety needs of INVISTA in the region.
· Participate in the Product Safety Emerging Issues Management efforts and ensure that emerging issues activities meet the expectations of the INVISTA Emerging Issues Management Process.
· Work with businesses and site leaders to enforce MBM? principles where above the bar performers receive continued development; employees not meeting minimum expectations are challenged to improve quickly with clear development plan in place or separation.
· Provide leadership and oversight to the businesses so that effective roles, responsibilities and expectations are in place such that all employees understand their priorities and decision rights; decision rights are increased or decreased based on performance.
· Assist each business and site in the region so that employees understand and perform per expectations of the INVISTA code of conduct and other INVISTA programs and policies.
Main Requirements
· 5+ years experience working with chemical control regulations
· Experience developing and implementing management systems for product stewardship compliance
· BS in Toxicology, Biology, Chemistry or other closely related field
· Experience communicating with plant workers as well as upper management
· Working knowledge of chemical registration requirements for countries in the Asia Pacific region
· Hands-on experience with product registrations and regulatory approvals.
· Experience in an industrial health, environmental health, chemical regulatory, legal, or compliance focused role.
· Familiarity with European Union's REACh regulation on chemicals and their safe use
· Knowledge of chemical manufacturing
· B.S. Degree in chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, or other EHS related major.
