Finance Director -- Asia Pacific, The Middle East & Latin America (世界第一大太阳能-再生能源欧洲制造商亚太总部，代替即将回国的老外）
Job description:
· Responsible for the setting up, maintenance and improvement of financial and management accounting, internal control, fiscal and management reporting, tax and treasury processes in Greater China & Japan. In addition, he/she should also act as the business partner of the business leader each organization by providing timely and relevant management information to steer business decisions and help improve our overall business performance.
· Supervises and maintains an efficient financial accounting function, including the continuous review of sub-ledger reconciliation, inventory stock take and fixed asset registers.
· Directly manages an effective credit control process and continually drives down our accounts receivable.
· Develops factory accounting and costing procedures to ensure the integrity of our standard costing systems and the accuracy of our inventory valuation.
· Engages in strategic pricing decisions and assist in contracts development for major orders.
· Manages our working capital, cash flow, FX risks and related treasury activities.
· Provides leadership to accounting support staff to enable the preparation of accurate financial and management accounting information, ensuring compliance with local and US corporate reporting and statutory requirements and adhering to tight time schedules.
· Critically reviews the monthly financial statements and prepares management information to help the management team improve profitability and reduce costs.
· Prepares financial projections and business planning reports.
· Prepares an annual budget, incorporating an operational budget, cash forecast, revenue forecast and capital expenditure budget.
· Determines transfer price for existing and new product development.
· Develops and implements policies and practices to ensure compliance to local regulations whilst minimizing costs to the company.
· Develops and implements policies and procedures that significantly improve internal control and safeguard company assets.
· Assists in the integration of dealership finance with the efforts of Regional Contract Development function.
· Oversees the administration of the sales commission process.
· Develops and builds talent pool in the China finance function to support the needs of a USD 200m business in 3 years’ time.
· Advises on legal and taxation compliance issues relating to the organization
· Advises on system integration issues relating to finance and/or internal control whilst bringing our overall finance processes ready for system implementation of Oracle.
· Continues to identify and develop costing saving opportunities.
· Oversees the financial budget and reporting of Japan. Working with outsource accounting center to complete regular reporting.
· Support corporate ERP (SAP) implementation
· Works on ad hoc local and/or regional finance projects when required.

Background:
· A professional accountancy qualification is required
· Minimum of ten years financial experience in a trading and manufacturing environment with a multinational company, and audit experience in Big 4. Minimum five years in management;
· Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills;
· Highly organized with well-developed analytical skills and commercial judgment
· High proficiency in IT skills, especially with spreadsheet and database applications. ( macro level)
· Oral and written fluency in English and Mandarin required;
· Good communication skill
· Experience in system development and/or implementation is distinct advantage.
