Summary:
The S&OP Manager role has primary responsibility to develop an integrated Sales & Operations Planning process. The S&OP Manager will work as a liaison to the Business President and functional leaders and will have overall accountability for the quality of the S&OP process.

This leader will coordinate the implementation plans, monthly executive review and improvement plans.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
S&OP Focused:
· Reconcile S&OP plans with business plans, including strategic plan, budget and forecasts
· Facilitate between Sales, Operations and other functional areas
· Maintain plans and drive action plans for implementation of process changes
· Act as lead role for software implementation and reporting projects, including Demand Solutions
· Track and provide root cause analysis on KPI
· Develop KPI goals or targets as appropriate; provide leadership in meeting targets
· Primary person responsible for performing or coordinating alternative scenarios or gap analysis
· Primary liaison for the Business President, providing preparation for executive review

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Experience in leading cross-functional teams
· Excellent analytical skills; "what if" analysis
· Proven implementation and project management skills; ability to set goals
· Knowledge of supply chain
· Experience of demand planning tools and methods
· Knowledge of inventory management
· Solid financial analysis abilities
· Proven leadership skills
· Excellent communication skills, including verbal and presentation skills
· Knowledge of strategic and other business plans

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:
· BS in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related experience
· MBA preferred
· At least 4 - 6 years of planning or product line experience
· Knowledge of Demand Solutions & SAP preferred
· Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
