Position Function:
We expect this position (Supplier Quality Engineer) to control all the incoming materials of COMPANY, and leading on driving the supplier to continue improving the quality. The SQE will coordinate internal and external customers’ quality complaints, and work with the suppliers to work out the corresponding solutions. Also in order to achieve a high standard result from the OEM/Suppliers, the SQE need to write the manufacturing specifications for clear and measurable outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
？ Responsible for the quality control for all incoming materials (include raw material, parts, subassembly as well as finished products)
？ Act as technical liaison for all the suppliers’ related issues to COMPANY’s production and Customers.
？ Ensure that all necessary documentation is maintained. (Make Suppliers fully understand Company’s requirements).
？ Train the suppliers for the usage of quality tools and meet our quality requirements
？ Samples Approval Process and Production Parts Approval Process
？ Analyze the root cause and make the corresponding preventive & corrective action of the nonconforming raw materials and follow up (It’s the most important)
？ Write manufacturing specifications and set quality parameters
Qualification Requirements:
？ Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical/Manufacturing or Engineering
？ Minimum 3 -5 years experience Quality or SQE experiences in a manufacturing/production (experience in EMS industry will be a plus.)
？ Familiar with ISO9000 and other quality management tools and, Strong working knowledge in Quality systems, manufacturing process
？ Strong organization coordination and good problem solving skills with team spirit
？ Be very detailed in writing manufacturing specifications for clear and measurable outcomes
？ Knowledge of reading Engineering drawing
？ Familiar with using the inspection/testing tools/equipments
？ Fluent in written and spoken English is a must
？ Computer skill: Microsoft Office is a must.
？ Flexible to travel.
