Sourcing Director (世界500强欧美公司,薪资丰厚)

Job description
？ Manages sourcing projects for export to the U.S. and overseas
？ Provide leadership and management for daily operation like quotations and bidding for the specific commodity in the Asian supply base.
？ Take an initiative in the sourcing strategy to achieve sourcing goal.
？ Identify, develop & qualify suppliers in China and other Asian countries to support the sourcing strategies
？ Responsible for the supplier management (database, process capability, corrective actions etc), cost reduction, quality assurance, and on-time delivery.
？ Communicate effectively with sourcing personnel and other various functional team leaders & personnel at global locations in purchasing, quality, and engineering for effective and efficient project executions
？ Willing and able to coach people in the team

Background
？ Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, master preferred
？ Minimum 8 years of broad industrial product sourcing Management experience in China with MNCs, with 3 years in managerial position as min.
？ Rich experience on sourcing plastic fixture, metal parts, large machined and fabricated components for electrical power
？ Knowledge of product development processes and preventive QE techniques , experienced as design engineer and quality engineer a plus
？ Familiar with U.S. material and engineering standards
？ Experience with international terms of trade and payment
？ Experience with ISO standards and quality certification processes
？ Strong project management and problem solving skills
？ Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
？ Highly skilled at MS office Behavioral competencies
