Job Output
As the Director of Global Sourcing, you will:
¨ Leads sourcing and product development activities to achieve both strategic and operational success
¨ Leads the Global Sourcing Strategy required for our agency customer in support of private brand penetration businesses
¨ Ensures alignment with the overall agency sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and to constantly increase productivity, reduce costs and prepare for future sourcing challenges in the area of responsibility
¨ Drives innovation from the external marketplace into Test Rite to ensure that Test Rite has clear differentiation in the marketplace.
¨ Responsible for assigned global category organization including architecting, setting direction for organizational development, and reducing total cost of ownership.
¨ Develop and implements global, regional & local principles, standards and processes.
¨ Develops strategies and direct the activities of cost reduction efforts at the local, regional and global levels.
¨ Leads talent management for agency business team by coaching and mentoring local and oversea staff.

Responsibilities:
¨ Leads the elaboration and implementation of the Global Sourcing Strategy in line with overall Customer Sourcing Strategy to ensure supplier leverage, optimal risk management, contract and agreement harmonization, best practice sharing, and external spend optimization.
¨ Elaborates and implements sourcing strategy for the overall customer sourcing strategy.
¨ Ensures continual supply of products which meet established standards and manages supply risk by determining when additional or alternate sources are required.
¨ Implements sourcing risk management and devises risk mitigation measures in order to ensure continuity of supply.
¨ Optimizes internal and external spend.
¨ Translates the agreed strategy into plans and budgets in co-operation with the head of global sourcing, category leads, and the local sourcing functions in the emerging markets in order to meet continuity of supply, quality, as well as cost reduction objectives.
¨ Drives innovation from external marketplace into Test Rite through constant observation and exploration of relevant global sourcing markets for assigned categories.
¨ Initiates and completes Vendor Agreements, as well as Quality Agreements as needed.
¨ Coordinates the preparation and negotiation of sourcing contracts with the vendors.
¨ Ensures organizational effectiveness and efficiency at benchmark level.
¨ Continuously monitors organizational performance including cross-functional interaction
¨ Ensures appropriate capabilities through training and development programs.
¨ Aligns local sourcing organization through defined global principles, standards and processes.
