Supplier Quality Assurance Regional Manager – 奉贤

Job Summary / Mission:
1. Inline with overall company Quality direction, mission, and in line with Global Supplier Quality direction, manage Regional Supplier Quality Assurance and Synergies for Company and PIDG group strategic and key suppliers. Drive Best Practices for Supplier Quality Assurance metrics and supplier qualification.
2. Implement comprehensive Supplier QA Plans; support Global Commodity Mangers in establishing (quality) relationships with strategic suppliers within the Global Sourcing function.
3. Manage and lead team(s) of SQA professionals in regional centers to synthesize / standardize best practice processes/
4. Manage standards for Supplier Quality Performance, metrics and processes in line with global standards.
5. Drive supplier evaluation/audit methodology, component inspection processes, supplier quality performance guidelines and supplier quality notification processes (corrective actions, red cards, etc.) and return procedures.
6. Drive & standardize supplier quality management processes and programs such as zero defect, six sigma, dock to stock, delegation programs with the goal to push robust QA to suppliers.
7. Work closely with Global Group Commodity Managers to ensure availability of clear metric supplier performance
8. Encourage and promote teamwork inside and outside of the Sourcing & Supply Function. Participate and encourage the participation in PTM, PLC and continuous improvement activities.
9. Collaborate with global site managers/leaders as required.


Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:
1. Manage Supplier Quality Assurance and Synergies for Company and PIDG group strategic and key suppliers. Drive Best Practices for Supplier Quality Assurance metrics and supplier qualification.
2. Lead a team of regional commodity SQA professionals to synthesize supplier quality assurance and performance.
3. Initiate, Coordinate and Lead ongoing supplier process & product audits, source inspections and Continuous Improvement.
4. Develops with the supplier, appropriate Quality and Reliability Requirements, Goals and Metrics such as; Statistical Process Control, Final Test and Audit, Burn In Results, etc… – before shipment can be made from the supplier to platforms or other company locations. This includes the data/metrics capture and reporting process.
5. Communicate requests and assure expedient and reliable corrective action from the supplier if a problem or failure occurs that is relevant to the Supplier’s parts(s)/component(s). This includes working closely with Supply Chain engineering and process engineering as appropriate.
6. Participates in New Product QA/Reliability Plans and Qualifications – and ORT.
7. Manage standards for Supplier Quality Performance, metrics and processes. Manage clear global processes for all sites, same process, one company.
8. Drive Supplier evaluation/audit methodology, component inspection processes, supplier quality performance guidelines and supplier quality notification processes (corrective actions, red cards, etc.) and return procedures.
9. Manage collaborative and effective means for Global Group Commodity Managers to have clear supplier performance metrics.
10. Encourage and promote teamwork inside and outside of the Sourcing & Supply Function. Participate and encourage the participation in PTM, PLC and continuous improvement activities.
11. Collaborate with global site managers/leaders as required.

Position/Job Requirements / Skills:
? 6 to 10 years Supply Quality supervisory experience in an industrial production / manufacturing environment.
? Strong leadership and people management experience in a quality manufacturing environment.
? Professional manufacturing quality certifications or professional affiliations.
? Proven experience developing and implementing strategic supplier quality process and metric processes.
? Proven experience in conducting and managing supplier audits.
? Self-directed with effective time management skills, strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work within a global growing organization.
? Demonstrate experience in SAP and inventory management
? Solid project management facilitation skills.
? Must have strong oral and written English communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, in-depth contractual knowledge, cost management skills, and innovative problem solving skills.


Education/Training Required:
? BS/BA Engineering or equivalent education. Professional certifications highly desirable.
Work Experience Required:
? 6 to 8 years experience in a supplier quality management environment
Work Conditions or Specific constraints (Travel…):
? International Travel…up to 20%,
