Job Summary / Mission:
This person should possess a high standard of integrity to ensure compliance to Company and MI policies and Sarbox requirements, anti-corruption laws through monthly Sarbox audit and ad hoc analytical reviews. This role is especially important in a developing country to build a good foundation in control and compliance.
Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:
? To conduct regular audits and or special audits on all locations in China
? To work cross departments to understand, design and document new processes or improve on existing processes.
? To ensure that new processes are in compliance with company policies.
? To ensure strict compliance to T&E policies through analytical review.
? To conduct ad hoc audits to ensure no irregularities in current processes (e.g. T&E claims, mileage claims, supply chain and manufacturing related processes, etc)
? To advise associates on any compliance related matters.
? To perform Sarbox controls review and quarterly Segregation of Duties review.
? To manage external audits and act as the liaison person between local staff and auditors during audits.
Position/Job Requirements / Skills:
? 5 years experience in an industrial environment as manufacturing engineer, production manager or technical sourcing engineer - preferably with box build (electro/mechanical) or contract manufacturer suppliers to export markets
? Professional certifications such as CPIM, Six Sigma or lean manufacturing preferred
? Project management facilitation skills
? Effective time management skills, strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work within a global growing organization.
? Negotiation and contract / supplier agreement: first experience.
? Must have strong oral and written English communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, in-depth contractual knowledge and innovative problem solving skills.
Job Diamensions:
? Marked contribution to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results 21 - 30%
? Convince external parties who are skeptical or unwilling to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
? Extensively analyze complex multi-dimensional issues and create/conceptualize new methods, techniques and/or processes across job areas or functions.
? Apply broad knowledge in most or all areas within a function.
Requirements:
? . A matured person with high integrity
? Good degree in Accounting or Auditing
? Possess at least 4-5 years of audit and process and control experience gained in Big 4 or MNCs.
? Ability to work independently, analyse data and draw conclusions
? Ability to communicate ideas through the Coporate hierarchy
? Hands on and business focus
? Bilingual in both English and Chinese languages
? Experience in SAP preferred but not mandatory
