职位描述
Job Duties:
1. Develops and executes strategic communications for China in collaboration with the Global Corporate Communications staff and the China senior management. Updates the MD China and Director of APAC Corporate Communications of all relevant activities accompanied by recommendations for action where appropriate.
2. Collaborate closely with regional and country management for China region on the development of public relations plans and programs, including planning of PR calendar, policies and strategy.
3. Collaborate with PR agencies and country MD to establish effective proactive and reactive PR strategies and subsequently provide leadership to and day to day direction of PR agencies in their implementation of these strategies.
4. Responsible for developing and coordinating of all employee communication programs, keeping employees apprised of business strategies, initiatives, and successes, including employee newsletter, organizational announcement, management bios, etc. Create opportunities and tools to disseminate information and solicit meaningful employee feedback, by working closely with Human Resources Department.
5. Handle all reactive China media enquiries and act as facilitator for handling all similar enquiries around the region, including the provision of reactive media and distributor statements.
6. Monitoring of positive and negative media coverage and alerting appropriate personnel in a timely fashion.
7. Helps to manage the organization’s response to media queries, including generating appropriate messages to enhance the organization’s profile while preventing unwanted media spotlight, when necessary.
8. To provide press office support at all major company and sales events and event management support to ad hoc events such as press familiarization trips, symposia and sponsorship activities.
9. Analyzes public opinion and provides feedback to manager.
10. To establish effective issues and crisis management strategies in conjunction with appropriate corporate personnel.
11. Media training and general day to day guidance for both distributors and country management. Provision of approved editorial material to distributors.
12. To assist External Affairs Dept. for all media and build positive brand awareness;
? Works with the media to secure publicity placements
? Create news release and distribution to media
? Arrange and manage press conference and media event
? Arrange one on one press interview
? Develops and maintains positive relationships with the media
? Increase media coverage in general media
13. Ad hoc project management and event management, e.g., press trips, charitable initiatives, symposia and support to marketing initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
? BS / BA in journalism, marketing/communications or equivalent experience
? At least 6 years’ experience in agency or corporate public relations in a management position.
? Experience in acting as a company spokesperson, handling press inquiries or press events and in writing
press releases..
? Experience in developing effective employee communications strategies.
? Experience in communicating with a multi-cultural workforce.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely and effectively. Knowledge of a local language, e.g., Chinese world be an added advantage.
? Extensive written and telephone contact with media, for the purposes of planning and coordinating interviews, press releases and product coverage.
? Consumer media contacts preferred, knowledge of health and fitness media valuable.
? Able to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
? Able to cultivate and foster relationships with internal and external contacts
? Able to function as an effective team member
? Must be initiative driven, able to handle and implement change, take minimal supervision and work independently.
? Outstanding PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, Internet and Internal software
? Able to build credibility and trust by demonstrating high ethical standards and personal integrity
? Work may involve sensitive and confidential information, discretion is essential.
? Personal interest in wellness or nutritional supplement industry helpful
? Position will include travel
