SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:

Develops,
evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods
to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and
finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both
company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations.
Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products,
in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions
when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and
statistical process control procedures are followed. Ensures compliance with
internal and external specifications and standards such as ISO regulations.
Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting
inspection support documents and records.

The
Senior Qualification Engineer develops Verification and Validation (V&V)
test plans for AC servo drives and motors.
Responsibilities include authoring of test plans, coordination of
internal and external testing resources, and execution of test plans.

Assists
with technical support of component motion customers in China.

·
Testing
of competitive products.

·
Develops
the test plan for validating the product features prior to release for
component motion project.

·
Coordinates
with partner and RA test resources to insure proper V&V coverage.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, Computer Science

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·
Minimum of 3 years experience in V&V testing
experience of servo products.

·
Prior experience working with a team on new
product development.

·
Must be able to
clearly document and communicate test plans.
Proven use of testing tools and methodologies.

·
Must exhibit good interpersonal, verbal and
written communication skills.

·
Must be self-motivated, capable of performing
and making good engineering decisions in a fast-paced, ever-changing
environment.

·
Experience working as part of a self-directed
team is a necessity. Must be able to handle multiple assignments while meeting
planned completion dates with minimal supervision.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

·
Prior motion system knowledge highly desirable.

·
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products
highly desirable.
