RESPONSIBILITIES / EXPECTATIONS:

- Plan, design and build / develop a test automation framework and testing tools for web services and backend

applications
- Automate test scenarios as appropriate and build test suites for all test phases in SDLC
- Develop a scalable performance and load test infrastructure from requirements development through architectural design and implementation.
- Execute and maintain performance and load test processes, procedures and test infrastructure.
- Partner with development teams to ensure quality
- Maintain an understanding of various testing and software methodologies
- Provide support, training, and documentation for QA team, to include best practices and increase automation

- Participate in planning and design discussions with Development and QA teams
- Provide responsible leadership on all projects and in assigned areas
- Adhere to all policies and procedures concerning all confidential information including but not limited to

use and restricted information, including Protected Consumer Information (PCI) and Protected Health

Information (PHI)
- Adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Administer duties as defined by the Green Dot performance review plan within the required deadlines
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

- 6+ years of software quality assurance test experience with a minimum of 2 years focused on building test

automation frameworks.
- 2+ years focused performance testing experience with an emphasis on test infrastructure development
- 2+ years of development experience using an object-oriented programming language.
- 2+ years of database experience using MS SQL server
- Experience designing and developing a test automation framework
- Working knowledge of load generation and measurement software
- In-depth experience with performance metrics extraction and reporting tools
- Experience creating test plans, test cases and scriptsKnowledge of the entire software development process (SDLC)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills in a technical environment
- Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight
- Good team player with the ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

PREFERRED:

- BA/BS or graduate degree in software engineering/computer science preferred
- Database knowledge (MS SQL Server); able to write complex SQL queries and understand data relationships
