Job Description

The (Senior) Corporate Communications Manager – External Communications will report to the Corporate Communications Director. He/she will assume the responsibility of the corporate communications in Great China and work with BU Marketing teams and agencies to create, deploy and evaluate highly effective communication strategy to support business objective and contribute to market development & access. To be successful, the candidate needs to be a self-motivator and an excellent communicator.



Responsibilities:

1. Development of a Great China corporate communications strategy to support the increasing business needs:

- To ensure consistent engagement with key stakeholders and management of the business reputation in China

- Effective communications on key pipeline

- Media exposures on disease/therapy awareness programs

- Effective change communications on organizational change

- Increasing local investment & commitment

2. Public communications on market development and access activities: key product launches, Public-Private Partnership initiative, disease/therapy awareness, integration and Business Model Innovation

3. Develop good media relations in the country, particularly with a view to identify key healthcare publications/journalists



Qualifications:

1. A minimum BA degree in any field, but with additional qualifications in Communications and/or journalist, marketing or equivalent knowledge gained through proven experience. Graduate degree is a surplus.

2. Proven 8+year experience in corporate communications and PR within a multinational company; Preferred in healthcare industry.

3. Capacity to manage multiple and diverse stakeholder relationships and demonstrate ability to build and maintain relationships;

4. Experience in working with cross functional teams

5. Innovative and collaborative approach to finding solutions;

6. Excellent oral and written communication (English & Chinese) and presentation skills;

7. Assertive; Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency
