Position: key account Manager
Reports To: Business Director

Overall Function: The Manager is responsible for co-developing and implementation of successful business strategy for the food applications sector for XXX Food Ingredient China. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for sales and service functions offered to XXX's customers in the fat and oil industry, snack , baking ,beverage and related food ingredient industries as assigned and achieving sales budgets under his/her responsibilities. The Manager is also responsible for developing new business from the point of processing to the retail shelf or food service channel, in fat and oil , baking and related sectors of the food industry, including establishing focused research and product development initiatives, marketing programs and product/brand management systems.

Major Responsibilities:
? Develop XXX downstream food ingredient business in China; involve in product development, implement marketing and sales strategies for the downstream (food ingredient) sector.
? Launch of XXX China natural antioxidants for applications in fat and oil ,, sauces & seasonings , fats & oils, processed nuts and bakery product applications.
? Frequent interaction and communication with the commercial and research/product development teams, target customers, XXX China support functions and XXX China executive leadership.
? Implementation of strategic plans to ensure their success.
? To achieve annual sales target and manage expense budgets.
? Develop cooperative relationships with key customers and industry groups to strengthen the integration of XXX China into the downstream food ingredient component of the integrated food industry.

Qualifications & Experience:
? The incumbent should have a degree, preferably a post-graduate degree in food science, chemistry, biochemistry, nutrition or business administration with at least 5 years of working experience in the food industry in a business management or business development role.
? Fluent English language skill and with a multinational working experience is preferred.
? A business minded manager with a broad scientific knowledge base who is able to set priorities, and meet timetables leading to the attainment of goals.
? An in-depth understanding of the fat/oil , baking and related food ingredient marketplace including food producers as well as ingredient suppliers to the industry.
? A proven record of positive business relationship development in the food or an allied industry.
? A good understanding of the chemical and biological sciences as they apply to the production of food products.
? Experience as an effective manager, project team player, leader and motivator; and the ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management.
? Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
? Excellent problem solving skills.
? A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency.
