Production Manager – Foodstuff industry

？ Lead the plant production to achieve plant KPIs, safety and environment protection management, product quality management and people development.
？ Be responsible for production function to implement orders with good quality and reasonable cost.

Mainly responsibilities:
Production development
？ Manage all production activities, systems and procedures to optimize productivity and cost and satisfy customer requirements with respect to quality and delivery.
？ Develop and implement manufacturing standard practices across the organization.
？ Accountable for the quality of products and manufacturing process. Ensure that proper training is delivered to all production employees and assess learning effectiveness.
？ In co-operation with the other relevant functions involved elaborate and submit for approval the plant operational budget.
？ Assess and implement productivity and material utilization improvements.
？ Develop and manage all relevant KPI’s.
？ Participate in the definition of investment requirements for business and strategic needs.
？ Participate in the recruiting process. Define and assess performance requirements and objectives.

Process Development
？ Lead process development and innovation.
？ Recommend and participate in capital projects to reduce costs and improve production performance. Lead cost reduction initiatives and meet budget and other cost targets.
？ Participate in product development activities working in close co-operation with R&D and Quality.
？ Support project team relating to the engineering & maintenance aspects of the project, as required during the project implementation phase.
？ Maintain site EHS safeguards / devices to correct technical standards.

Continuous Improvement
？ Co-ordinate the Continuous Improvement function / process.



Key skills/ Critical experience

？ Bachelor degree ,major in natural Engineering/ food technology
？ At least 5-8 years of good production department leadership experience and training skill in an FMCG /food industry, mill management experience is preferred
？ Experience of handling a large team
？ Project implementation experience
？ Production management knowledge and quality function management
？ Logistical and warehousing management
？ Development to commissioning of new projects
？ Safety and Environmental knowledge
？ ISO system development and execution knowledge, be familiar with GMP
？ Coaching skill
？ Good communication skills
？ Fast learning capability
？ Fluent in English listening, speaking and writing
