1. Manage the in-license and M&A R&D due diligence sub-teams, including coordination of external scientific assessments, for the selected individual China target companies, eg, TCM targets
2. Manage / coordinate IntOps R&D/Regulatory due diligence activities for global M&A targets, eg, IntOps geographic expansion of US target companies
3. Identify, expand and maintain external TCM-western scientific consultant pool, including management of confidentiality agreements and contracts/agreements
4. Confirm pharmacopeia and SFDA registration status, manage literature searches and handle translations. Consult internal regulatory expertise when necessary.
5. Co-ordinate with Global Preclinical and Clinical Research for safety and efficacy evaluations
6. Develop resource requirements and manage budget and expenses
7. Responsible for tracking the due diligence process and reporting progress.
8. Set up and maintain the database and achives for the ingredients and products
9. Working with Global PreClinical and Clinical Research/Clinical Operations, determine the cost and timelines of generating confirmatory data to support safety and efficacy, including confirmatory clinical trials, where warranted
10. Upon deal signature, provide project management support to the R&D sub-team responsible for the integration of the new opportunity into the China OTC business.
11. Where deemed appropriate and on a case by case basis, provide project management support for the key stakeholder functions for selected in-license and/or M&A initiatives in China and selected opportunities for International Operations
