职位描述
1. JOB PURPOSE:
Support and advise business under geographical scope, especially Supply Chain to ensure that all vendors and suppliers meet TOE and legal requirements and have management & reporting system in place. Develops all activities aimed at providing a safe and healthy working environment, assuring suppliers to meet TOE and legal compliance, risk reduction and support to the business protecting and enhancing brand and company reputation and assets in order to sustain responsible commercial success for China region.
2. CRITICAL RESULTS:
1) Delivers business support and advice on Terms of Engagement, legal compliance and verify that all approved manufacturers meet LS&Co requirements.
2) Drive advanced programs beyond compliance to advance sustainability strategies.
3) Build and manage LS&Co. relationships under the geographical area with stakeholders, including NGOs, third-party providers, government, and other brands.
4) Ensures that supply chain vendors and owned and operated locations are consistently capturing and reporting Sustainability data to LS&CO, including self-assessment report and Information Management Systems.
5) Improve effectiveness, costs, and speed of TOE program for licensees.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure suppliers are in compliance with TOE requirements (40%)
1) Works with the vendors, licensees and suppliers to ensure TOE requirements are effectively communicated and implemented in the geography under his/her responsibility.
2) Supports setting targets and monitoring on TOE performance, working with Director, Regional Managers, Performance & Reporting.
3) Monitors changes in local Labor, Health & Safety and Environmental laws and regulations and works with his/her Manager to ensure LS&Co. policies and standards evolve to meet local requirements and company requirements.
4) Interprets and gives advice to SSM and Sustainability managers on TOE implementation issues.
Drives Social, Health & Safety and Environmental program implementation beyond monitoring (50%)
1) Implement projects beyond current TOE scope delivering value added to suppliers in the environment.
2) Implements in partnership with LSF programs Improving Workers Well-Being beyond factory walls.
3) Drives Supplier Ownership and capacity building initiatives to shift from monitoring/ compliance.
4) Supports and followup on project implementation; improve awareness, capacity building through TOE programs.
5) Stakeholder engagement with NGOs, government, brands, local partners, SSM.
Manage external monitors's performance in collaboration with Regional Manager(5%)
1) Works with Regional Sustainability Operations Managers to develops and implements consistent TOE policies, procedures, and programs for External Monitors. Together with Sustainability Operations Regional Managers, ensures external monitors adhere to TOE policies, procedures, and programs, and oversees External Monitor quality, working with Director, Regional Managers and External Monitors.
Improve Effectiveness, costs, and speed of TOE programs (5%)
1) Conducts analysis, makes recommendation on emerging geographical issues.
Identifies ways to reduce costs of operations in the geographical region.
Identifies compliance issues and ways to improve speed of TOE findings resolution.

Key Relationships/Peers:
1) External: External Monitoring firms, Code of Conduct personnel for other Global Brands, External Consultants on Terms of Engagement, NGO’s, government officials.
2) Internal: SSM regional management and QA and Sustainability team, Performance & Reporting teams, Government Affairs, Community Affairs, LSF.
4. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Education:
University degree related to social, environmental or Health&Safety is recommendable.
2) Experience:
Minimum 5 years work experience focused on environment, health&safety in a multinational company, NGO, government, or multi-lateral organization.
3) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong project, and organizational skills.
Detail oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of code of conduct implementation and Environment, Health&Safety. Able to work with minimum of supervision in a matrixed environment.
Experience with Database applications, MS Project, MS Office applications.
5. PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:
1) Ensure effective performance:
Identify win-win solutions to meet business needs and TOE compliance.
Work with licensees, external monitors, business, and TOE managers to improve performance at poorly performing factories.
Develop and make recommendations on licensees’ key TOE performance metrics.
2) Manage global consistency:
Identify and ensure globally consistent LS&CO. policy when regional implementation/practice differs.
Compare and analyse different regional practices on implementing various TOE standards and develop a global approach.
Develop and present TOE educational programs to licensees in cross-cultural settings.
6. WORKING CONDITIONS:
1) Primarily works in an office environment. Position will require domestic (geo scope) travel to suppliers and marginal international travel related to global programs.
2) Job requires the following physical activities: domestic travel to geographical countries, computer use.
