职位描述

Responsibilities:

1. Running all standard meetings including SDT, Launch Meetings, Customer Reviews, Monthly Project Reviews, weekly CA (Product Change) meetings, weekly Project Timing meetings, and Phase Exits.
2. Maintaining all necessary Project Documentation including Statements of Work, Open Issues Lists, Timelines, Parts Matrices, and Monthly Project Reports.
3. Meeting all standard Project events including Drawing Release, Prototype Build, Customer Deliveries, PSO, PPAP, Run at Rate, and SOP.
4. Understand, champions, and follows all JCI systems including BOS, PLUS, POS, all elements of MOS, CA, PSO, and SOW.
5. Establishes internal and external targets, objectives, and deliverables by working with Management, Customers, and SDT of his program. Utilizes all necessary resources, in particular the SDT, to meet the Project Targets, Project Objectives, and Project Deliverables.
6. Maintains the SDT morale and esprit de corps. Guarantees the success of all team members. Resolves conflicts and differences between team members and departments. Clarifies roles and responsibilities when necessary to ensure the smooth running of the team. Facilitates and encourages positive relations between departments and team members, and be the role model of that relationship.
7. Following the industry best practice, including all PMBOK knowledge areas, to ensure World Class Project Management. Utilizes all available Project Management tools including Risk Management, Lessons Learned, and Earned Value to successfully execute their project.
8. Manages the Customer Relationship to ensure both successful project execution, and full Customer Satisfaction. Utilizes clear project scope Control tools including SOW, written responses to scope change requests, and quotes that include Product, Cost and Timing impact, to manage JCI interests.
9. Manages the macro Engineering program including drawing schedules, and prototype builds and schedules. Ensures that prototype builds occur at the Center of Excellence. Ensures design reviews take place, and that the appropriate personnel participate.
10. Supports the Launch Manager and the Launch Team and takes part in all production builds, team meetings, plant based customer reviews, and critical production preparation activities. Also ensure the project team members are supporting the launch efforts appropriately.
11. Ensures true cross-functional workflow and harmony including simultaneous engineering between Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, PEIL), Product Design and Advanced Quality (JD Power, Warranty Reduction, PPM Reduction), Product Design and Purchasing (Supplier Design).
12. Project monitor and control the execution of work by personally visiting supplier and manufacturing locations, attending design reviews, visiting customer locations and assembly plants, reviewing budget status reports, participating in prototype and production builds, maintaining project timelines.
13. Ensures appropriate project staffing by establishing the SDT organizational chart, ensuring correct assignments and workload, defining tasks and due dates, ensuring that all team members have the correct training and skill levels for the tasks that they are asked to complete. Work very closely with BU General Manager(s) and Functional Managers to ensure this task.
14. Project planning in all regards, including establishing and managing timelines, contract review, Customer SOW, PD-1, PD-2 review, Supplier SOWs review and approval, specifications and product requirements of all types.


Requirements:

1. A Bachelor degree in Accounting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Management or equivalent. An MBA, Program Management Institute (PMI) Certification and successful management of new product development launch programs is preferred.
2. 6+ years experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Engineering and Project Management. Background in Purchasing, Cost Estimating, Quality, and Material Control is desirable.
3. Demonstrated ability in manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and quality, finance, and materials, etc.
4. Strong team building, communication, conflict resolution, and business leadership skills. Customer management and negotiations skills
