Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to help enable the business unit to achieve this goal by:

• monitor the day-to day business from a operational finance perspective
• check & monitor on Operational Job Costing and advise the P&L owners
• provide month-end closing and warn Financial Controllers and Country management for potential risks
• liaise with the Finance Shared Service Organisation (SSO)

Key Accountabilities

• Check on losses and high profits in P&L
• Customer trading trend analysis (spot month period)
• P&L progress during current month
• Check on dossiers not transferred to P&L
• Check on advances/accruals versus actual cost variances
• Unbilled status
• Invoice delays / Late billings status
• Invoice accuracy / Credit note analysis
• Duty and VAT variances on dossier level
• Month-end closing process
• Operations and project support

Requirement

l University degree (Bachelor or Masters) or equivalent industry experience

l Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in an operation environment

l Accounting experience and solid understanding of basic accounting principles

l Performance-focused and able to motivate him/herself to achieve service excellence

l Experience in working with 3pl/forwarder

l Good knowledge in incoterms

l Hands on knowledge in excel

l Good verbal & writing skills in English & Chinese

l Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships

l with internal and external partners / service providers

l Strong analytical skills

l Good Stakeholder management skills

l Proactive and a keenness to learn on the job
