Description
We are seeking exceptional full-time engineers to join our growing team in Polycom Beijing. Immediate tasks involve working on a video conference middleware which exposes an API and SDK for Application Developers. The video conference middleware is an engine which is portable across OS like Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. Design and implement interfaces Design and implement thorough unit tests for all assigned code deliverables. The ideal candidate is a self-driven and highly-motivated individual who is able to cite specific examples from their career which illustrate a high capacity to rapidly absorb new technologies and a past track record of writing high-quality code. Responsibilities
1. Fully understand the requirements from customers and product managers
2. Actively participate in product design and discussions
3. Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project
4. Create innovative solutions for complex multi-media applications5.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent major
2. 3+ years development experience with C/C++/Java/C# at Windows is a must
3. Good understanding on vertical software stack including operating system, middleware and application layers, familiar with computer architecture.
4. Development experience with script languages like Python, Perl, is a plus.
5. Good understanding on object-oriented programming.
6. Strong analytical and problem solving skills and have the ability to work independently and in teams.
7. Good team work and Self-motivated. Willing to take ownership and make commitment
8. Good English skills, both in written and oral
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills
