Responsibilities

·Oversee the implementation of the data network, including planning, managing and maintaining all data communications and network infrastructure.

·Specifically lead the project of implementing the Microsoft Domain migration, New mail server setup and China VPN connection project.

·Evaluate system production readiness and sustainment activities with the ability to coordinate and plan for future growth

·Design and implement short term and long term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets future needs

·Maintain vendor relationships and manage the ordering process for all infrastructure hardware / software

·Manage and maintain contracts, network assets and all server & laptops

·Troubleshoot and resolve technical queries from local and remote business users

·Provide emergency on-call support for region

·Maintain awareness and be a self-learner of the latest information technology and developments within the job scope.



Qualifications

·B.S. in Computer Science plus minimum 5 years in a Microsoft based environment with similar role or equivalent experience

·Must have an understanding of switching and routing principals, copper and fiber connectivity, WAN connectivity, virtual networks, disaster recovery, and basic network design principals

·Expertise knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Email Anti-Spam, Load Balancing, SSL, IP-Sec, Terminal Services, etc

·Experience in backup/restore, disaster recovery, business continuity and maintenance of systems

·Experience in working with 3rd party service provider

·Excellent problem solving, analytical and verbal and written communications skills

·Good in oral and written English and Chinese languages.

·Strong interpersonal and communication skills
