Job Output:
¨ Under the supervision of engineering supervisor or manager, this position is responsible for providing electrical engineering services related to manufacturing of mineral fiber ceiling products. These services include the design, management and execution of segments of capital projects, completing process improvement assignments and providing technical support and problem solving.

¨ To assist project manager to develop project specifications and codes as the basis for engineering, procurement and construction executed by subcontractor in wool ceiling board process. Coordinating with local design force to ensure assigned project principles and objectives to be fully met in design. To check that engineering/design is to comply with national and international standards and codes. Coordinate with local design institute and subcontractor for approval of the design by local authorities. Monitor the project implementation and provide necessary correction to ensure the project meet all requirements on quality/schedule/cost.

Key Process (Ownership/Participation):
¨ Under guidance of a supervising technical manager, implement and monitor assigned electrical engineering projects to meet completion criteria related to safety, budget, schedule and performance.
¨ Be responsible for personal safety. Provide safety leadership to project subcontractors in the form of setting expectations, training personnel, auditing safety performance and correcting issues. Include safety compliance and good housekeeping in all project efforts.
¨ Provide support topics including PLC and control devices, power distribution, and motor controls as needed. .
¨ Provide support on design of electrical components as needed. Consult with production and maintenance to understand process requirement then translate into fully functional solutions.
¨ Monitor installation and commissioning of assigned projects. Train operators and craftsmen on new equipment and procedures as part of commissioning
¨ Apply Lean principles to problem solutions. Understand and use fundamentals to eliminate waste including 5S, TPM, SMED and standard work. Participate in Kaizen efforts of facility.
¨ Coordinate projects involving outside engineering and construction resources.
¨ Consult with Logistics and Finance to select qualified suppliers, develop estimates, purchase equipment and parts, follow-up on delivery and monitor payment information.
¨ Maintain plant equipment technical filing system including all documentation related to engineering projects and physical assets including programs, drawings, technical information, spare parts and training or maintenance manuals.

Education & Work Experience:
¨ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
¨ Minimum five years and above engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
¨ Excellent computer and programming skills
¨ Experience with PLCs - Allen Bradley & Siemens platforms preferred
¨ Familiar with Servo-driven systems (SEW), motion control, analog and digital signal distribution and interface interconnection
¨ Experience with power distribution, motor control, and variable frequency drives.
¨ Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and codes
¨ Demonstrated use of basics of project management
