RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports Value Stream Manager in removing barriers.
2. Champions best practices across region and drives standard work across region.
3. Supports activities needed to drive a lean culture transformation.
4. Support Regional liaison for Operational Excellence Deployment Plan and Goal Deployment Plans.
5. Owns Goal Deployment Plan for region.
6. Supports the team of Value Stream Coaches to work with the entire value stream organization (salary and hourly) to transform to a culture of significant focus on value for the customer, and rigorous continuous improvement and problem solving to drive the customer value proposition
7. Define and educate the workforce on a lean transformation plan of RIE’s, A3’s and JDI’s which will lead to achievement of future state targets while also providing key deliverables in the areas of first time quality, cycle time reduction, cost reduction, waste elimination, increased capacity and improved efficiency
8. Implement the Operational Excellence strategy.
9. Support, train, and coach business leaders and staff through development and implementation of lean management, gemba walks, and leader standard work.
10. Support, train, coach and partner with Value Stream Managers and LSS Leaders to deliver annual safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity goals by closely working with them on Lean transformation projects and strategic initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma, OPEX, VAVE and project management tools including selection and prioritization .
11. Provide LSS, GDP, countermeasure, problem solving and project management support and training for business partners.
12. Generate and manage a project pipeline identifying business opportunities that will help drive Operational Excellence, Dramatic Growth, Productivity, and Dual Citizenship.

Qualifications

? Bachelor of Science Degree or related discipline desired (or equivalent education/ training/ experience).
? Minimum of 5 years of documented world class lean manufacturing experience.
? Knowledge of lean manufacturing related safety requirements.
? Excellent Team Facilitation Skills
? Extensive Gemba based continuous improvement based tools/techniques. Excellent documented leadership skills.
? Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with both senior management and production.
? Ability to assign priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
? Ability to interpret manufacturing schematics and blueprints.
? Able to mentor and facilitate lean culture change in an environment with varying acceptance.
