Purpose of the Job

The main job function is to provide accounting support in the day to day operations of the Finance Department.



Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

Responsible for accounting work base on Movex system,
(1) Responsible for full Fixed Assets related works (application, addition, depreciation, internal transfer, dispose and selling etc)

(2) Responsible for tax adjustments of Fixed Assets per PRC policy for statutory purpose

(3) Prepare fixed asset reports analysis and capex budgeting

(4) Ad hoc FA related works

Arrange and lead fixed asset physical counting
Responsible for Tax issues includes but not limited to,
(1) Monthly tax returns (VAT & Business Tax, etc)

(2) Quarterly CIT and Annual CIT filing

(3) Withholding Tax

(4) Cooperate with local tax agency for tax issues of all branches

(5) Group required tax reports

(6) Tax suggestion to management on new tax policies

(7) Ad hoc tax related

Prepare PRC B/S, P/L and other statutory reports with ERP's conversion software and MS excel on monthly bases according to PRC GAAP
Responsible for statistic reports required by local government departments
Handle below treasury works
(1) Intercompany and other overseas payments settlement per group and government policy

(2) Routine admin work on bank accounts (ie. set up new account, bank information control) and loans, including foreign debt registration in SAFE

(3) Manage bank guarantee and letter of credit from customer and to supplier

Manage insurance work including polices filing, reporting, insurance application and claim if any.
Support other accountants in day to day accounting works
Partial reporting works and G/L related works
Any other duties considered essential for effective operations and services

Person Specification/Job Requirements

Accounting qualification to Diploma level
Minimum of 5 years experience, at least 3 years on tax issues, at least 1 year to FULLLY handle annual CIT filing, preferably with an international company
At least 2 years experience on ERP system operation in GL and FULL fixed assets module typically.
At least 1 year experience on non-trade outbound payment work and overseas payment.
Bilingual - Mandarin and English


Desired Skills

Strong tax fundamentals and solid knowledge on PRC tax laws & regulations
It is a MUST to be familiar with VAT, CIT and WHT filing system, process, relevant paper work and accounting treatment
Good knowledge on PRC accounting policy, typically fixed asset accounting
Familiar with Foreign currency regulations, including non-trade outbound payment
Knowledgeable on treasure issues such as bank guarantee, letter of credit
Keep good relationships with tax official, tax agent and banks
Strong skills in office software, especially in document preparation
