Reports To: IPO Asia Director
The main responsibilities are to manage the sourcing process and supply chain of dedicated commodity in coordination with global and regional strategy. And he (she) is responsible to obtain contracts with the most competitive terms and conditions, contributing for the company revenue with the best possible quality, cost and delivery level (QDC); meeting customer's requirement, driving rationalization of work through continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
Monitor supply market and provide information to stakeholders.
Initiate and lead sourcing projects with cross-functional team.
Coordinate to develop total value analysis for sourcing projects.
Select supplier, negotiate price, tooling cost, logistics and contract terms with local and global supplier.
Build supply chain for dedicated sourcing project.
Manage supplier's quality, delivery performance and cost evolution as per sourcing strategy.
Solve problems on operational issues
Understand and apply Purchasing Processes
Achieve financial and operational targets.
Actively support continuous improvement efforts in within the organization
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Good to potential supplier pool.
- Understand of technical requirements such as drawings, internal standard, and national/international standard.
- Good knowledge production process.
- Excellent value driver analysis and activity based cost calculation.
- Supplier evaluation methodology
- Negotiation skill
- Ability to manage cross functional projects and meetings
- Basic knowledge on legal requirements
- System knowledge for SAP, MRP-2 etc
- Incoterms 2000 and logistics cost drivers
- Ability of Problem solving
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Good leadership qualities for managing cross-functionally and cross-culturally in matrixed organization
- Good ability of working structured
- Ability to manage cross functional projects and meetings
- Good knowledge of all working tools that is used in Supplier Development
- Good knowledge of the purchase process, PPD, OtD and DtR
- Good computer skills (Ms-office etc)
