R&D Manager Emulsions & Functional Fluids

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 (including EHSS responsibilities)

1. Owner of local silicone product technology and process technology.

2. Coordinator and interface between local organization and global technology platform
(Emulsions & Functional Fluids), business team and supply chain.

3. Identifications and utilization of synergies between different technology platforms.

4. Support and guide local product development and process transfer to plant.

5. Maintain and develop current company intelligence for value creation.

6. Actively monitor relevant local IP landscape and strengthen company IP position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件(education, language, expertise, functional competencies)

Education

1. Master Degree major in Chemistry, Ph.D preferred.

2. Major in Silicone Chemistry preferred.

Knowledge/Requirement

1. Solid knowledge of Chemistry, Silicone Chemistry preferred.

2. Familiar with the R&D and IP procedures.

3. Excellent command of written and spoken English.

4. Good IT skills (MS Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook).

5. Soft skills:
Open-minded, pro-active and communicational personality including intercultural competence.

Experience

1. At least 4 year R&D related working experience in chemical industries
(2 year working experience can also be considered if Ph.D).

2. Lab technician management experience preferred.
