Senior Mechanical Design Engineer（欧美独资光学仪器制造商，良好的薪资福利待遇和晋升前景）

工作地点：上海浦东

Purpose/Objective:

Innovative microscope design and improvement to reach marketing requirements in line with strategy of the division. Design to manufacture and assembly to reach the mass production requirements. Work in international development teams according to APD process, project plan and project budget. Life time support for production line of the supplier.

Area of Responsibilities:

1 New product design of educational, clinical and industrial compound microscopes focusing on mechanical area

- Transform product specification to technical product concepts

- Design mechanical parts and systems of new products, create bill of material (BOM) and SAP material master data

- Create a maintain design history file

- Optimize design to manufacture during design periode

- Perform functional and manufacture feasibility studies as well as quality and cost analysis in close collaboration with operations and suppliers

- Define testing acceptance criteria (TAC) and equipment for mass production.

2 Project Transfer

- Transfer overseas drawings and TAC to local conditions

- Create and maintain SAP material master data and BOM

- Technical support and training for operations, local suppliers and overseas project teams

- Contact for overseas project teams to communicate with operations, suppliers including supplier selection, design to manufacture, to cost und compliance with regulatory requirements

3 Product sustaining / life time support

- Provide technical support during mass production of mechanical parts, such as root cause analysis, define and implement corrective actions for problem solving in collaboration with operations and suppliers

- Initiate, evaluate and implement external and internal engineering change requests (ECR) for cost optimization or product improvements

Education/Experience:

- Education background: Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or higher

- Experience: More than 3 - 5 years work experience as mechanical design engineer in optical instruments company

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

- Rich experience in design of mechanical parts and systems

- Good knowledge in machining, die casting, injection, sheet metal and optional optical manufacturing process

- Basic skills of the principle, frame and assembly of microscopes

- Basic cost analyses and design to lean manufacturing skills

- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Pro-E, PLM, Auto-CAD and optional SAP

- Work in international team and willingness to travel is a must

- Team worker with Can-do attitude

- Good communication skills in written and spoken English or German
