Job Description and Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent is accountable for managing or supporting the execution of large scale Energy projects within the Energy PST in China, with a primary focus Gasification opportunities.
This includes management support for all project execution activities, project development activities, and new technology support. Typical scope includes Engineering, Design, Equipment Procurement, Construction Procurement, Construction Management, Commissioning and Plant Start-up.
The incumbent shall comply with Engineering Procedures, work instructions, specifications and standards. The incumbent may work on several project development opportunities, helping to ensure the best value proposition necessary to win and maximize profit consistent with commercial objectives. The incumbent will work with outside engineering and contracting firms (LDI's) and/or joint venture owners and partners. The position requires travel in country and possible residency at an LDI office, as well as possible to suppliers outside of China.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
10 years of Project Management Experience
Experience with Gasification or Energy Projects Preferred
Education Requirements: BS Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
