Job description
- Be responsible to define, develop and implement short, medium and long term strategies and actions to improve quality and productivity in the entire value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and continually reduce operating costs in a safe working environment.
- Create and lead the Quality Strategy and Systems in line with Group Quality and strategy, to accelerate the rate of operational improvement, and resulting cost savings, across the value chain
- Set long term Quality Plans and priorities and targets for the BU and monitor the operating units and act on deviations from targets
- Lead and establish continuous quality improvement culture within the BU
- Lead a strong customer focus attitude in deploying CCRP within the BU
- Define and implement a systematic Quality approach to continuously improve business practices and performance across BU
- Define and assure delivery of key quality improvement projects, through LBU, to directly contribute towards achievement of the targets
- Monitor and review the BU's Quality performance and act on deviations / hot spots and opportunities
- Monitor supply quality situation both internal and external and unearth opportunities continually
Job requirement
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or higher.
- Specialization in Quality management is desirable
- Minimum 7 year experience in quality management in foreign invested environment
- Additional experience from operations well prefered
- Around 5 years experience in leading and managing / implementing Quality Processes within a large manufacturing company
- Certified in Quality
- Demonstrated capability to use quality tools to define problems, collect data, establish root cause and create effective countermeasures
- Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge regarding Operational Excellence Quality concepts to others.
- Demonstrated capability to apply Operational Excellence Quality principles to create major positive change
- Demonstrated capability in understanding the total business functions
- Understanding of different cultures, networking approach
- Think globally
- Excellent ability to guide, coach and mentor others
- Excellence in strategic quality planning and deployment
- Fluent written and spoken English matched with communication and training skills.
