Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineer _ 传动（欧美独资医疗设备行业公司，有班车，要求口语良好）

Department: R&D Center Shanghai

Report to: Mechanical Engineering Manager

Role and Responsibility:

As key member of the R&D team, he/she will:

• Responsible for Mechatronics transmission design of Histology products.
• Participate in new product development (product definition, concept and prototype development, verification & validation, design transfer)
• Work on mechanical design, testing and manufacturing effort for new product development
• Provide documentation for CE, UL or other standard along with design
• Work with cross-functional team to ensure product design meets the requirement for manufacturing, cost, service, and regulation.
• Assist supply chain selection and production process (assembly and inspection) development

Essential Requirement:

• Above B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimal 5 years industry experience in mechanical design, testing, and manufacturing
• Hands-on experience and solid capability in:
• Above 5 years experiences with CAD software (like Pro/E, AutoCAD, PDM etc.)
• Excellent experience with Mechatronics transmission design and motion analysis, such as belt drive, gear drive, lead screw drive, motor drive etc.
• Excellent knowledge of mechatronics system design and integration (component selection, trade-off analysis, knowledge and selection of sensor, motor, gear, guide, and belt etc.).
• Experience in testing with capability in establishing test fixture
• Good knowledge of common surface treatment, material properties of popular metal, plastic, or other materials
• Good knowledge of tolerance design and calculation, stress analysis etc.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing, Testing, and Cost
• Good knowledge of safety standard or regulatory process in product development
• Good English communication ability (verbal and written)
• Good problem solving skill (root cause analysis, FMEA, etc.) and technical communication ability
• Must be a team player

Desired Qualification:

• M.S. degree in Mechatronics with above 4 years work experience
• Medical device or life science product development experience
• Experience in complex mechatronics transmission system development, such as motor drive, lead screw drive etc.
• Global collaboration experience in matrix organization
