1. MAJOR CHALLENGES

- To maintain and exercise a strong team player in project execution
- To take on the challenge for any new projects plan in the roadmaps
- Efficient execution of projects according to IPD process
- Professional establishment of good connection with Suppliers.
2. Responsibility

With Mech. Group leader :
- Provide Capacity Support in developing Family/Heavy Derived products.
- To perform FS activities before

With Group Member:
- Guide and support on their project and avoid major setback.

With other function engineers
- Attend regular mech meeting related to design/project issues and any updates in technology or design rules.
- Assist elect engineer to finish PWB release activity.
- Co-operate with other function engineer to perform new project feasibility analysis

With Purchasers :
- Support to provide drawing and film for repeat tooling issue .
- *Repeat tooling release activity

With Project Manager :
- Receive technical information from customers through project office
- Feedback outstanding issues in terms of design constraints to project office
- Support project manager in achieving Mass Production dead line with quality design.
- Support in sample making activities by performing functional check, specifications requirement and quality assurance
- Issue CP or EC according to project requirements

With Manufacturing and Process Engineer:
- To support production in PTR/TR activities and Evaluation of Field rejected products and proposed alternatives in resolving the issues
- To draft and design testing method for individual projects requirement such that the testing time is optimized with no compensation in terms of spec and quality in products

Customer :
- To support / advice customers on project design and test requirement in production environments

3. PERSON REQUIREMENT

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering /tooling design major

- Abundant Experience in electronic /home application related products such as mobile phone, PC , laptop, Electronic dictionary and cleaner.

- Abundant Experience in using Pro/engineer wildfire 4.0 , Illustrator and Microsoft office .

- With mindset of customer orientation and excellent communication skills with customer and team partner

- Ability to work independently and with a good analytical mind

- Abilities in technical knowledge such as plastic and metal sheet tooling structure, troubleshooting, design rules in order to perform daily projects.

- Fluency in English is an added advantage

- Above 5 years working experience is needed

- ID design experience will be value added(Master Rhino/3D max/Photoshop)
