Job Purpose:

He/she is responsible to ensure that General Ledger and Fixed Assets finance shared services related processes and maintenances are in accordance with RA standards, policies and procedures. This includes the areas of General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accounting, AR Cash Application, PRC Tax Application, Financial Related System Maintenance and where applicable, data transfers to the reporting system.

He/she is also to direct and coach the team accountants with their day to day work as and when required, as well as to perform accounting transactional responsibilities where required. This person will be responsible for the performance of the team, driving for performance and quality improvements.

He/she will, where appropriate, initiate and lead projects for process improvements, working with the relevant functions or business to achieve these results.

Where available, this position will partner with other functions to create end-to-end processes with the view of a smooth straight through processing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the general ledger, AR cash application, financial system maintenance, fixed assets processes, and where applicable data transfer to reporting system according to Rockwell Automation's accounting policies and procedures, and driving to improve performance and quality.
- Lead the team to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the data that is input into the ERP system.
- Design and implement accounting controls around the Shared Services GL and Fixed Asset processes.
- Direct and coach the team accountants.
- Participate in projects (some cross functional) as and when required to improve the overall end-to-end processes.
- Suggest improvements in the area of responsibility to achieve or beat the corporate target for efficiency improvements.
- Report and monitor KPI's as agreed with management.
- Ensure that the team is organized in a most effective and efficient way to meet the current and future business needs.

Key Competency Requirement:

- Good understanding of accounting concepts and PRC/US GAAP.

Education/Qualifications/ Work Experience:

- University Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
