Position Summary
This position is to assist the LBU manager and Sales Manager in helping to grow and sustain a healthy business through a variety of marketing activities, primarily those of tactical marketing to generate growth of business. The incumbent will also support in the development of LBU strategies and its subsequent implementation.
Success in this role will require working closely with Commercial team members, and China Segment Marketing and Direct Marketing team members. The role is accountable for building up of local market knowledge and analysis, such as competitive intelligence, market trends, and customer information.
The incumbent must have strong communication skills, able to work independently, and be able to work effectively in cross functional teams, including both internal and external groups.
Principal Accountabilities
Tactical Marketing
1. Support to build up business leads for the LBU via:
- Telemarketing lead generation campaigns
-Identification of new business opportunities via local news articles, government announcements, etc.
-Develop opportunities from the local industrial park through the investigation and relationship set up with local government
-Building up of competitive account database with information on contract expiration dates
-Seminars and exhibitions for leads and branding
-Promotions for new and repeatable application offerings
Market Knowledge
2. Develop market knowledge
- Analyze market trends and segment growth within LBU
- Gathering of competitive intelligence through internal and external sources
- Assist in market supply and demand assessments
- Collect information from CRM to summarize results and establish trends
- Assist to put together and review sales presentations for customers
- Provide LBU input for planning and strategy purposes
Competency and Skills
3. Apply marketing organization, tools, systems, and work processes to the LBU needs
- Work with Marketing and Marcomm team members to maintain sales tools and collaterals
- Work with Marketing team members to build up campaign and marketing resource plans
- Maintain close coordination and collaboration with Sales, CT, Marketing and other function teams as needed to optimize the marketing focus for the LBU
Competency and Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Job Incumbent is expected to have a Bachelor’s Degree in a business or engineering/science field. There is an added advantage if incumbent has postgraduate qualifications
2. Job Incumbent is expected to have minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing
3. Decent to Good English ability
