JOB RESPONSIBILITY

- Develop, implement and monitor company environmental, occupational health and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with country / province (example OHSAS, Health and Safety Authority, local (regional health regulations) and company standards in the area of environmental, health and safety regulations.

- Recommend corrective action where environmental and health hazards exists.

- Provide direct clinical care to employees based on established best practices.

- Identify, conceptualize and deliver health and wellness related programs for plant population.

- Ensure compliance with Abbott Global Occupational Health Policies and Procedures and all local statutory requirements.

- Provide consultation in the matters of occupational health and interface with site management team in the areas of EHS excellence.

-Maintains health related records (MIS) as per system and ensure its up-dation from time to time.

- Support the investigation and remedial actions associated with employee, related environment, health and safety incidents and accidents.

- Maintain seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders like HR, tie-up Hospitals.

- Support function in various EHS related initiatives.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

·Qualification in General Nursing and Midwifery

·3-5 years of nursing experience while working in a manufacturing set up and trauma centre.

·Automated External Defibrilator(AED)/CardioPulmonary Reseuscitation (CPR) Trained

·Trained in performing audiogram and pulmonary function tests

·Trained on Emergency response.

Functional/Technical

- Ability to handle the OHC independently.

- Ability to handle medical emergencies.

- Ability to communicate in English and writing in English.
