Project Background: EAE/EcoStruxure
In the "Automation Industry" BU, the Incubator entity is a dynamic program designed to support and nurture innovative ideas within the company. It has the mission to bring the standard IEC 61499 to the industries of the future and to reach that it is developing a new application called EAE (eco-structure automation expert，the EAE system consists of hardware elements (M580, ATV, M251, HMI) and EcoStruxure Automation Expert software for programming, configuration, deployment, diagnostics).
This standard promises an improvement in performance and a reduction of costs thanks to asynchronous metrology, where the events are used to manage the different PLCs. Here is where the motion team comes in, making it simple, the mission of this team is to create and test the code and the application that allows EAE to interact with the motors, widely used in the industry.
The project is executed by several agile teams, with each team integrating developers and one or more testers.
Position : RunTime – Soft DPAC（Go）
Mission:
Develop functional evolutions related to the runtime on the Automation Expert project
Participate in the Agile development (SCRUM) of the Soft DPAC part. Tools: Docker
In particular for each sprint:
- Estimate loads during sprint planning
- Create tasks for each user story to be developed
- Develop each task and its unit tests
- Communicate on a daily basis during stand-ups
- Actively participate in weekly grooming sessions
- Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives
