Key Responsibilities: 

1.Drive systemic supplier performance improvement plans and projects for reducing quality defects and improving supplier capability.  

2.Conduct process and part audit at supplier sites – part to print verification, quality management system review, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. 

3.Train and develop suppliers to comply with Applied’s quality methodologies – 8D, responding to non-conformances, change management controls, failure analysis. 

 4.Prepare and present executive summaries on supplier capabilities, and customer and factory escalations.

Key Requirements: 

1.Direct experience in finishing processes such as painting, planting, cleaning, and coating. Well-versed in quality management systems and methodologies. 

2.Manufacturing/machining process development and qualification 

3.Sound knowledge of GD&T and Engineering Drawing Interpretation 

4.Design of Experiments, statistical process control methods, and theory 

5.Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
