Job Summary:

Implements, manages and continuously improves the company's ethics and compliance program for an assigned region. Supports and implements global compliance initiatives in the region and contributes to the further development of the ethics and compliance program globally.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Develops, distributes and/or delivers effective training and communications in support of the program, including language localizations as appropriate.
• Actively promotes employee awareness of the program.
• Oversees, manages and further develops the company's anti-corruption compliance program in the region; including delivery of training and communications, implementation of enhanced compliance controls, and ongoing oversight of third-party compliance controls.
• Conducts compliance and ethics related investigations, inspections and audits as assigned.
• Assists in implementing global security initiatives in the region as needed.
• Manages and further develops the network of code of conduct advisors in the region.
• Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders-e.g., HR, legal, audit, finance, supply chain, and other business functions-to identify, mitigate and resolve ethics and compliance matters.
• Builds the company's external reputation relating commitment to a culture of compliance, maintaining appropriate visibility and involvement in the region's ethics and compliance community.
• Works continuously to improve training, policies and processes to keep the Program both relevant and effective by monitoring compliance to processes and developing new compliance policies and processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:

• Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories and concepts. Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
• Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determine best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve policies and procedures.
• Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work may be reviewed at a high-level.
• May represent the organization as a primary contact on assignments and/or projects. Interacts with senior professionals and management and frequently coordinates work between departments or organizations.
• Actions may impact the organization. Failure to accomplish work will result in the inability to reach crucial organizational goals. Erroneous decisions may have a prolonged effect resulting in the expenditure of substantial resources.

Work Experience:

• Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• Familiarity with anti-corruption compliance laws and controls is required; experience with data privacy compliance is desired.
