Responsibilities
- Responsible in executing new product launch activities to Finished Good suppliers. Insure production lines are optimized for throughput, following quality best practices, and good workmanship.
- Define Key/Critical Station that requires measurement (First Pass Yield) through process mapping from initial pilot build.
- Insure Outgoing Product Quality that the product is good by conducting product audit from OOB witness, OQC, and ORT process
- Establish Process Verification Testing Plan on the Product and released report from Agile System
- Establish Audit Plan and conduct audit covering IQC/Production Line/FQC/OOBA and resolve any non-conformance and to error proof
- Initiate PFMEA with Suppliers and validate in manufacturing to eliminate if not reduced risk to manageable level.
- Work with Supplier or Engineering to identify new, difficult and unique process as per product specification that needs verification specification and establish control plans in manufacturing.
- Conduct parts or product sample review and check if it is compliant to specification from BOM.
- Develop supplier's capabilities meet Logitech needs, it include CIP activities, SPC, Process Capability, and help to identify long-term partners
- Review standard hours define for the product and monitor any bottleneck that impact quality and productivity.
- Define ORT plan for the product.
- Monitor Product Ramp plan for any quality issues affecting production yield/output and have it resolved on time.
- Insure sub-suppliers are adhering & providing parts to meet product specification, conducting IQC, factory audit with supplier management is needed
- Review Mass Production readiness and provide critical issues to PM.
- Approved ECO and ensure implementation to the supplier on time.
- Participate in the approval of product changes request from Suppliers if needed.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of product quality from Distribution Centers and field returns (customer complaints).
- Communicate with supplier to feedback their problem and proposals to Music BU / Audio Engineering, it may include DFMEA, assembly challenges, and test problem.
- Manage suppliers' performance and conduct audits, and ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or above in Electronics/Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- At least 4 years relevant experience in quality assurance, new project launch activities and familiar with manufacturing process in an electronics company (EMS/CDM/ODM type)
- Certified QE or have knowledge in lean manufacturing/Six Sigma is a plus
- Experience in Quality Engineering function that support new product launch and sustaining
- Experience in Quality Systems and Process Auditing skills
- Experience in yield measurement, CPK calculation, calibration of tools and testing system (MSA), process control with jig and fixture application and process capabilities
- Experience in Supplier Management or SQE function Experience in ODM/OEM supplier management
- Knowledge in Music and/or Audio product preferred including tablet accessory but not essential
- Knowledge in application of basic quality tools (e.g. SPC, GR& R, Cpk, FMEA, Fishbone etc)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent command of both written & spoken English & Chinese
- Willing to travel (25%-50%)
