OVERVIEW:

The key responsibility of this China based position of PVD Engineer/Field Service Engineer, is to support our high volume PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) equipment used in the manufacturing of semiconductor applications for the LED-, Power Electronics-, Optics- and Wireless Communication industries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Leading/support PVD start up project, which including assembly, installation, commussioning, trouble shooting, provide On-Site Support to customers using PVD equipment for the manufacturing requirements.
2. React to system down emergencies to ensure the systems are return to production in a timely matter
3. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair PVD eqipment by using the training you will receive and your knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.
4. Ability to read technical drawings, which including but not limited mechanical drawings, electrical diagram, SOP and operation manual.
5. Communicate with our technical support team locally to ensure corrective actions are taken efficiently and precisely
6. Travel upon projects' needs to other region, will include international travel.

Skills & Specifications:

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English language
2. Be able to quickly adapt to new circumstances
3. Good decision-making skills
4. Ability to encourage and motivate people with responsible attitude
5. Ability to read and understand German is beneficial, but not required
6. Ability to travel

Education and Background:

• Prefer applicants with an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 3 -5 years’ experiences in Applied materials/Jusung/Lam/Aixtron/Evatec/ULVAC's PVD/CVD/PECVD/MOCVD/Sputter/Evaporation/Ion plating with customer service.
