The Role:

    

The Sr. Firmware Engineer is responsible for design, review and manager embedded system development based on Android & Linux platform

• Be in charge of FW/SW development for audio/video conference and IoT devices based on embedded system (Android/Linux)
• Be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance for BSP of Android platform and related software architecture.
• Be responsible for system stability, power consumption module development, independent analysis of panic, crash and other stability issues.
• Define FW/SW requirement and test plan in terms of product requirement
• Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation
• Work with new technologies that are vital to product development
• Deliver investigation plans and reports, architectural documents, design specs, software and firmware source code, build scripts
• Successfully collaborate with both software and hardware product teams

                                    

                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

    

Key Qualifications:

    

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• 5+ years’ experience in Android system development
• Familiar with Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio.
• Familiar with Android multimedia framework and relevant experience.
• Experience in Android solution such as RK, MTK, Qualcomm and HiSilicon.
• Experience in ARM, MIPS or Android/Linux platform and device driver development.
• Experience in Video and Audio codec and 3A algorithm
• Experience in evaluating audio performance
• Good teamwork player and strong self-motivation in high pressure working environment
• Good English communication skills in both oral and verbal

                                        

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

• Experience on SMART phone, tablet, TV box development will be a plus
• Understanding scripting language technologies such as Python and Lua
• Understanding game engines, game development technologies and workflow

                

    

Education:

    

●        Bachelor degree or above in Computer science or related major
