Job Purpose

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software tools including operating systems, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, generally instructions on new assignments

• Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines the process by which to meet goals

• Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of technical information/project activities. Networks with senior internal/external personnel in own area of expertise

 

Job Related Competencies

• A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization

• Resolves wide range of issues in creative ways and effective ways

• Good team spirit and quick learning capability

• Masters C++ or C# programming language

• Good English reading, writing and verbal communication skill

• Experience in industrial automation preferred

• Bachelor degree (Master degree preferred)

• 5 to 8 years of related experience
