JOB SUMMARY

Lead Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in order to drive business performance in safety, cost, delivery, quality, and people development. This position has mostly regional (AsiaPac) and some global responsibility (minimal work in EMEA and North America, partnering closely with leadership in the Rockwell enterprise. Primary focus is on both transactional processes and manufacturing plant involvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Lead high level strategic projects to drive improvements in business performance using Lean and Six Sigma techniques.

· Lead projects range up to more strategic multi-functional, multi-business, multi-region efforts that requires leadership, project management and communication proven skills.

· Design and organize events such as strategic planning, summits, workshops with people in the region and within different functions.

· Create and facilitate training material of Lean, Six Sigma, Problem Solving and Operational Excellence across the enterprise primarily in the region.

· Evaluate and introduce to RA as applicable existing programs and techniques in the Lean and Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Industry.

· Develop and monitor performance and behavioral indicators to support the organization strategy.

· Coach and Mentor site leaders to become Lean and Continuous Improvement leaders and experts in their respective facilities.

· Perform any other tactical activity related with job position.

· Ensure a thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's Degree required in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing, business, operations, project management or related discipline.

· Experience in operational environments such as manufacturing, supply chain, and transactional environments.

· Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean (Lean may be informal) with proven completion of projects in which solutions were sought at the root level of the problem.

· Experience working and leading cross-functional, cross-business and cross-cultural teams and projects.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).

· Experience working with initiatives focused to institutionalize continuous improvement culture (Toyota Production System or similar).

· Strong working knowledge problem solving / root cause analysis and process management.

· Proven Leadership and Change Management experience driving process improvement projects.

· Hands-on Project Management experience.

· Bilingual (English - Mandarin) preferred
