BASIC FUCTIONS

 

Aggregate and analyze demand requirements (requirements / forecast is jointly owned by Sales and Marketing) for vitreous China LAV and commercial Vitreous China products, generate production requirement to the related plants. Ensure that manufacturing production levels and volumes are well planned in accordance with customer needs and manufacturing efficiency. Manage product inventory levels to maximize profitability while ensuring world class response times to customers.

 

  

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• In charge of monthly rolling sales forecast by close and frequent interactive communication with distributors, marketing and sales. 

• Work with related plant to have the optimized supply plan and MPS to ensure the supply plan matching with demand. 

• Own IBP process execution for handled category, drive and lead demand review with channel marketing and supply review with plant.  

• Prepare monthly master scheduling to support 5 plants’ production through close coordination, trying to reduce total supply cycle time in order to increase flexibility and quick responsiveness to market change. 

• Track inventory availability to ship, analyze product inventory performance. Manage product inventory to the reasonable level to reflect the demand change and keep good service level on delivery to customer.  

• Improve the process to achieve the operation target include inventory turn over, order backlog and on time delivery etc.

• Related report to support above points.

• Reports to Senior manager SOP, Kohler China 
  

• Frequent contacts with Sales Managers and associates 

• Frequent contacts with Marketing Department 

• Frequent contact with distributors 

• Frequent contacts with planning team in 3 plants 

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

• University graduate or above

• At least three years experience in similar role: Demanding planning, Inventory Control, Master Scheduling, Forecasting 

• Logical thinking, good data analysis skills 

• High positive attitude and tactful communication skill, strong S&OP handling background 

• Good English and well computer literate MS-Office suit window 97. good SAP experience is plus
