KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Overall objective

The overall objective for this role in RFBO is to help boutique finalize compliant sales.

He/she needs to:

• Be the financial ‘Helpdesk’ before a transaction is entered into.
• Be the ‘Controller’ of the financial activity of boutiques, after a transaction is entered into.
• Be a ‘Developer and Launcher’ of new procedures when a loophole is found in one of the boutiques, when a new law arrives, when a productivity improvement is identified and etc.
• Be a ‘Facilitator’ on-site via regular visits to boutiques.

To fulfill the overall objective, he/she needs to:

• Provide day-to-day support, trouble-shooting to help maintain accurate up-to-date ‘Accounts’ of the boutiques.
• Perform day-to-day controls, on end-of-day procedures, during monthly closings and etc.
• Manage the finance part of new boutique openings, internalizations and closings.
• Participate in yearend stock count and follow up with discrepancy if any.
• Engage in different finance projects and deliver strong support on project implementation. Collaborating with other functions.

The key challengers, he/she faces to:

• Handle a complicated matrix-based organization in a highly customer-centric environment.
• Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels in Maisons.
• Enforce a consistent application of Internal Controls whilst developing a strong Business Relationship based on mutual trust and respect.
• Working with out-of-date IT systems and highly-manual processes.

QUALIFICATION:

Work Experience & Skills:

1. At least 5 years of experience in the retail industry in a multi-brand environment, at least 2 years in supervisory or at least senior staff position.
2. Strong knowledge of Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and other finance-related topics.
3. Ability to work under pressure, quickly understand / assess complex business situations / transactions in order to determine the high-risk areas and find practical solutions to the boutique managers.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
5. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with accounting software/ERP systems.
