A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Information Technology Development team helps develop and supports internal information technology systems and applications for use by all staff levels. You’ll help our team develop programmes and applications that cater to PwC’s strategic technology needs using your knowledge of technical domains of application.

Responsibilities:

Works across a team of engineers, under close leadership. Typically assigned to one product/project. Collaborates with Full Stack Developers, Product Management and Product Design teams to understand scope of project and product assessment on test cases for both TDD and BDD approaches. Assist with defining and implementing test case procedures; tests; coding, compiling, refining programs; perform QA reports. Follows agile ceremony and product release process to ensure the right level of quality is reached before promoting anything to production. QA Engineer should have similar skills sets as a Full Stack Developer but more focused on testing automation, and managing the end to end quality assurance life cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree;
• Computer Engineering/Information Science;
• Understands SDLC;
• Some knowledge of event driven - microservices architecture;
• Understands Restful API and common integration designs;
• Some knowledge of OAuth2 for authentication and authorization;
• Some experience with agile and scrum methodology;
• Understand BDD and TDD;
• Understand testing automation and common pipeline tools.
