We are hiring a Marketing Consultant for our Communications team who will be responsible for crafting different types of quality content through a range of initiatives and campaigns to promote our brand and services. The role will work closely with different lines of services to tell compelling PwC stories to serve the dynamic content needs and will be

based in Guangzhou.

• Craft precise and powerful communications messaging, tell compelling PwC stories in fresh and creative ways;
• Writes different types of content under PwC’s tone of voice, including by-line articles, features, press releases, blog posts, case studies, etc.;
• Maintain an in-depth levelof familiarity and industry knowledge across our key lines of services, stay abreast with industry updates and trends, mining for insights and foresights for content development;
• Keep a close eye on media trends and insights to identify and exploit communications opportunities to drive conversations;
• Analyse and develop media angles and materials of thought leadership pieces and stories;
• Liaise and co-ordinate with different departments within the firm and members of the media if needed;
• Superb writing skills with a data-driven and highly analytical view.

Requirements:

• A superb writer with excellent writing and analytical skills, with a proven track record of writing different types of content;
• Minimum 2 years journalism experience in influential media outlets or content related experience in PR agencies preferred;
• Degree holder in Journalism / Communications / PR / Marketing or related disciplines;
• Strong knowledge and network in capital market, financial industries preferred;
• Thorough understanding of the media landscape and macro-environment in China with strong relationships with media and influencers;
• Excellent written and verbal Chinese and English;
• Multi-tasking, goal and detailed-oriented with strong media sensitivity;
• A self-starter and able to deliver high quality work under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Proficiency in MS office applications Word, PowerPoint & Excel;
• A team player, meticulous & with a positive work attitude.
