Job Description

？ Perform a regional role to manage Korea/Japan/Thailand/Indonesia/Vietnam shipment to be shipped on time

？ Handle ocean booking and liason with suppliers & local branches to make sure the shipment to be shipped on time according to delivery schedules

？ Provide forecast to nominated forwarder per month for securing space & equipment

？ To build up buyer consolidation box (LCL Vs CFS) and balance between container utilisation & cost saving with consent

？ Set up KPI and review with nominated forwarder's Key Account Manager and make sure forwarder's performance fulfill requirements

？ Monitor data accuracy in Oracle Transport Management (OTM) within agreed timeline

？ Data maintenance

？ Exception management

？ Make sure new supplier onboard smoothly and to follow requirements in shipping

？ Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

？ Collect Plan for Every Parts (PFEP) for packaging analysis to minimize the shipping cost

？ Be able to communicate in English via email is a must

？ Speak fluent English and be able to communicate directly with DHL UK LLP team

？ Escalation to DHL UK LLP if any issues

Job Requirement

？ 10 to 15 years ocean freight experience with superior level in global 3PL companies

？ Rich experience in building up consolidation box

？ Skills in managing 3PL's performance

？ Able to work with different regions with different time zones

？ Solid understanding of the principles of supply chain management

？ Proficiency in ocean freight pricing mechanisam

？ Experience in cost saving project

？ Experience in people management

？ Excellent communications skills

？ Knowledge in packaging analysis and improvement is definitely an advantage

？ University Degree or Master or equivalent

？ Minimum 10 -15 years working experience in transport and operations related roles in a logistics environment

？ Minimum 5 years working experience in supervisory level

？ Fluent English (written and spoken)
