Job Description & Summary

A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.

Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.

Depending on the lines of specialization, the roles and responsibilities could involve:

• Assist clients in their China tax and business compliance obligations, including preparation of tax computations and returns, and handling correspondence with the Mainland Tax Bureaus;
• Provide tax and China business advisory services to clients;
• Assist clients in setting up companies / offices and handling business compliance requirements in China;
• Conduct research relating to China tax and business issues;
• Maintain and develop client relationships; and
• Supervise the work of staff members within the group.

Requirements:

• A recognized degree holder preferably in accounting or equivalent;
• Qualified member of a professional accounting body;
• 8-10 years’ relevant experience in China and international tax advisory/compliance work;
• Practice experience in CPA firm is also welcome;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Confidence with a strong business sense and marketing skillsets;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Strong analytical skills and organizational skills; and
• Good project management skills.
